چکیده

Background. Due to an increasing number of liver surgery, the problems using secure hemostatic techniques during its resection are still relevant and require further study. Objective. To determine optimal technique local hemostasis based on a comparative morphological assessment wound. Material methods. The study was performed 30 outbred white rats with examination biological material 7th 21st days. Results. It has been established that cryohemostasis, electrocoagulation application methods adequate ways stop blood loss from wound resection. analysis histological image micro-preparations showed inflammatory response is present in all experiment series, regardless techniques. disadvantage TachoComb sponge need for fixation surface, collagen – long period resorption, damaging effect tissue marked inflammation. Conclusions. Local cryohemostasis appeared be most effective bleeding control technique. Its advantages following: it stops much faster than techniques; characterized by minimal abdominal adhesions; less pronounced parenchyma; facilitates scar formation likely cause changes zone.

Hand-assisted laparoscopic liver resection using Habib's technique: early experience

INTRODUCTION Hand-assisted laparoscopic liver surgery, a newly developed technique based on an innovative concept, has proved useful and safe for a variety of less invasive hepatectomies. Radiofrequency-assisted hepatic resection has been reported to be safe, associated with minimal morbidity and mortality and decreased intraoperative blood loss and transfusion requirements. AIM We describe h...

Technique of Vascular Isolation for Liver Resection

of hepatic vascular exclusion for extensive liver resection. Hepatic vascular exclusion, which includes clamping of the portal pedicle along with the inferior vena cava below and above the liver, may be a useful procedure for resection of liver tumors close to the hepatic veins or the vena cava that are usually considered unresectable by conventional techniques. Since complete caval exclusion i...

Totally laparoscopic anatomical liver resection for centrally located tumors

Laparoscopic major hepatectomy is a common procedure that has been reported frequently; however, laparoscopic resection of centrally located tumors involving segments 4, 5, and 8 remains a technically difficult procedure because it requires 2 transection planes and dissection of numerous branches of the hepatic vein and glissonean capsule compared to hemi-hepatectomy. Here, we present 7 cases o...

Comparison of survival outcomes after anatomical resection and non-anatomical resection in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma

BACKGROUNDS/AIMS Liver resection is a curative procedure performed worldwide for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Deciding on the appropriate resection range for postoperative hepatic function preservation is an important surgical consideration. This study compares survival outcomes of HCC patients who underwent anatomical or non-anatomical resection, to determine which offers the best clinical ...
